Some Udemy advice by Paul
September 16 2021
We’ve spoken to Paul about how he likes to use Udemy, and what tips & tricks he would like to share with you.
Udemy is one of the largest online educational platforms out there… and the good news: all WAES consultants have unlimited access to Udemy courses.
“I like to use Udemy, there are so many courses you can choose from. When I start a new project and I encounter a technology that I didn’t use a lot, I look in Udemy to find out if there are available courses about that technology. This helps me in being more productive during the project.”
Because WAES provides you with a full access Udemy subscription, you can just do some segments from a bigger course. Paul: “This is very helpful, because when you already know something about a subject, you can zoom in to that part of the course you are interested in, without worrying about wasting your budget. In our career it’s really important to stay up to date and to keep developing ourselves. I like to use Udemy to refresh my knowledge and to improve myself.”
Top 5 study tips
Look for the reviews and rates of a Udemy course before you start one.
Do the courses in your own pace, take the time to really understand the lectures.
Plan your time and take breaks. For example, take every Saturday morning from 09:30 – 12:00 to study.
Select the subjects that are important to you, instead of watching an entire course.
Ask for help when you get stuck.
