We’re pleased to announce the launch of: The Spartan. This new magazine by WAES will feature inspiring stories from, and about, real people and the latest (technological) developments that help our society move forward.
In the first edition of The Spartan we have interviews with Ad van Berlo (VanBerlo Agency), 2 Michelin star chef Soenil Bahadoer and Martijn Groen (Lead IT Manager Enterprise Data Lake at Rabobank).
“The Spartan represents what WAES is all about,” Bob Defilet (Founder of WAES) says. “We want to show our entire community what role the software-market has in the bigger picture. In every edition we go in to subjects that matter.” For example, in this issue you will find an article about the importance of making mistakes. When there’s no room for errors, people will not be able to learn from their experiences.

In the article ‘Health reinvented by data’, the future of healthcare – which is already here – is appointed. Thanks to the Philips HealthSuite Digital Platform, patients can recover at home while being monitored remotely. The article gives you multiple insights about the importance of data in healthcare.
“I’m really proud of the people that cooperated with us on this first edition of The Spartan. With Ad van Berlo, Martijn Groen and Soenil Bahadoer, I truly believe we have a nice mixture of entrepreneurial thinkers, who can inspire the reader with their stories.”
In the coming months we will be sharing some articles from The Spartan. The Spartan will be published twice a year. Want to receive your copy? Send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
