Why work in Europe?

Work life balance There’s more to life than work. In Europe, we value our work life balance. At the end - or before - a working day, you have the time to work out, spend time with your family, or catch up on that latest Netflix sensation.

Less commute Time lost traveling to and from work, is time wasted. In Europe, the average time spent on commute is 38 minutes. Another big advantage is that a lot of people commute by bike. Especially in the Netherlands. So you can excercise, while going to work.

Enjoy the safety Can you imagine your kids playing on the street or in a park without keeping an eye on them? In most parts of Europe this is no problem. According to the Global Peace Index, Europe is the safest place to live on our beloved planet earth.

Explore Europe Paris, Amsterdam, London, Rome, Berlin. Just some of the cities Europe has to offer. Traveling in Europe is easy. Distances can be easily covered by car or train, but a plane will take you from one place to another in a maximum of about 3 hours.

No language barriers Are you afraid that language is going to be an issue? No need! You really have to do your best to find someone who doesn’t speak any English. The Netherlands has been ranked the best non-native speakers of English in a yearly international ranking.

Paid vacation days In Europe, holiday entitlement is an important part of employment as it directly contributes to the work-life balance. The amount of days differ per country. On average, you get 23 days of paid vacation. On top of that you also have public holidays, like Christmas.
