As a (Senior) DevOps Engineer at WAES, you configure CI/CD platforms and pipelines to take our customer’s developments to production smoothly.

As the WAES DevOps Engineer you
Work on long-term projects with highly dynamic and fast-paced WAES clients in the Netherlands.
Ensure stable and best-in-class CI/CD environments.
Actively participate in delivering self-service and automation tools.
Deliver end-to-end monitoring to diagnose and fix issues.
Continuously develop yourself to be the best version you can be.
The ideal candidate has
BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or another relevant study.
At least 3 years experience as a Software Developer, and at least 1 year experience with DevOps activities, preferably at a large and modern organization.
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, Bamboo, Maven, Gradle, etc.
Solid experience with container orchestration tools like Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Solid experience working with Cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Experience in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
Solid hands-on professional experience with writing clean and maintainable code.
Worked in an Agile/Scrum-driven environment as part of a team.
Advanced level of English (spoken and written).
Good proficiency in Dutch (spoken and written) is a strong advantage.
Nice to have: experience in the design, implementation, and administering of Linux infrastructure, Linux servers, and Windows servers.
